Description: http://www.davidlynchfoundation.org/ In this clip from the launch of Operation Warrior Wellness NYC at the Urban Zen Center, neuroscientist Dr. Fred Travis provides an insight into how Transcendental Meditation can help restructure the parts of the brain that have been damaged by severe trauma. He explains how the brain functions and how every experience we have changes the brain: Traumatic experiences physically change the brain structure, effecting memory, fight or flight response, and causing fragmentation in the brain. He goes on to explain how Transcendental Meditation actually gives the brain a uniquely healing experience that restores integrated functioning to the brain—and holistic thinking to the mind.
The ALPHA experiment has built and preserved a bunch of Antihydrogen atoms for over some 16 minutes (1000 sec.)

This is the first time anti-matter has been created and stored in a stable long-lasting state. It is hoped the breakthrough could help us to understand the composition of the universe.

An "artificial leaf" made by Daniel Nocera and his team, using a silicon solar cell with novel catalyst materials bonded to its two sides, is shown in a container of water with light (simulating sunlight) shining on it. The light generates a flow of electricity that causes the water molecules, with the help of the catalysts, to split into oxygen and hydrogen, which bubble up from the two surfaces.
Ali Aliev, the researcher have created a working invisibility cloak using one of nature's common yet bizarre phenomena -- the "mirage effect."In a video posted to YouTube, the strands are seen appearing and disappearing during a demonstration in Mr Aliev's lab.
UCF researchers have discovered a way to infuse the world's lightest carbon material with nanotubes. The results may lead to advances in robotic surgery, the detection of pollutants and even increase battery capacity!
NASA's Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope has detected beams of antimatter launched by thunderstorms. Acting like enormous particle accelerators, the storms can emit gamma-ray flashes, called TGFs, and high-energy electrons and positrons. Scientists now think that most TGFs produce particle beams and antimatter.

On June 18, a Honeywell-operated Gulfstream G450 successfully completed the first transatlantic biofuel flight. The twinjet's right Rolls-Royce Tay 611-8C engine was run on a 50-50 blend of Honeywell UOP's Green Jet Fuel and petroleum-based jet fuel.
In Thailand, ADB is lending up to $70 million to support the development of the world's largest solar photovoltaic energy plants in Asia. Once operational, it will generate enough electricity for 50,000 households.
http://www.solarenergyprosandconsinfo.com/ This will provide enough enrergy for 200,000 homes, in 1 hour the Sun can provide all of the planets electricity needs for a whole year. Solar energy is the future. Sometimes I see something that inspires me, and this solar energy tower does just that.
Hong Kong is producing energy a little greener today. The largest solar energy plant was recently opened on the island, as part of an effort to cut pollution.
