The JANUS science camera aboard ESA’s Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (Juice) has captured new images of the interstellar object 3I/ATLAS. The image displays jets coming out of the nucleus of 3I/ATLAS opposite to the direction of the Sun.
During its flyby of Earth on 20 August, ESA's Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (Juice) found ingredients for life in Earth's atmosphere - the so-called ‘CHNOPS’ elements (carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorous and sulphur).
They say the shortest distance between two points is a straight line, but for JUICE—a European Space Agency-led, Jupiter-bound probe scheduled to launch in 2022.
