Europe just gained its second and third coal-free countries. Sweden and Austria have both shut their last coal-fired plants in late April, joining Belgium in going coal-free in favor of renewable energy sources.
Austrian scientists are pursuing the idea to use more complex quantum systems. The developed methods and technologies could in the future enable the teleportation of complex quantum systems.
The tallest wooden building in the world is under construction in Vienna. It will be 276 feet tall and save 2,800 metric tons of carbon dioxide compared to a concrete building.
